Tonota Heritage Hike 2026
A three-day 60 km heritage hike from Selepa through the Tonota area, with historical storytelling and a cultural night.
Tonota District Council confirms that the 2026 Tonota Heritage Hike will run from 15 to 17 October. The approximately 60 km trail is planned to start in Selepa, Francistown, include heritage storytelling and stopovers around Bodumatau and the Shashe River, and conclude with a cultural component. Participation terms and fees were not published in the council notice.
